Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Attorney to support our ADA litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior attorney looking to develop litigation skills and gain hands-on experience through close mentorship. The role will begin as a 3-6 month contract with strong potential for long-term employment based on performance and team needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Negotiate settlement agreements with opposing counsel.
Provide legal advice and updates to clients regarding their cases.
Conduct thorough legal research and analyze statutes, case law, and regulations.
Draft legal documents.

Qualifications:

1-2 years of litigation experience required.
Admission to the New York Bar.
Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines with attention to detail.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong plus.
Professionalism, discretion, and empathy when interacting with clients.
